I have been happy that I have been with my family. We had so much fun together scootering, playing video games, and having family time.  I've  been reading the Chronicles of Narnia and playing the game plus we saw  the  BBC movie of it. I'm excited about watching The  Lion The Witch and the Wardrobe when I come  back to New York in December. In 37 days I will be back in New York.

Tonight Uncle Gino is taking us bowling.

I feel depressed because I know that the time that  we're going bowling I know that it's the time that I  almost have to leave. I don't like it as much in Florida because I don't have as much friends. Here my friends are: Zach, Rachael, Jacob, Daniela, Gino, Shane, Max, Matthew, Erik, Roarda, Val, Kim, Amanda, Joey (the dog), and Taffy (the  cat). In Florida there are no kids that like to play on my street. I feel LONELY.  And up here in NY I have friends to play with. Also the school I go to everybody says curse words. It's very GHETTO. Even though I am half black I am not ghetto and I'm not comfortable being around people who are. And I want to be homeschooled with my cousins. I had alot of fun with them while we were together when they did homeschool. And Florida is just plain BORING!

Last night we all watched Willy Wonka Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (the new one on DVD) on Kim's big-screen TV. It was like being in a movie theater with all my friends because  Matt, Shane and Eric ended up spending the night last night.

If Jehovah could grant me one wish, I'd wish for that my mom would come  up to New York. I wish my mom would do her job up here so we could be together.

 

Mom got up really early yesterday morning to bring me to Orlando airport. Then my aunt  Daniela picked me up at 3 o clock. I saw her hair when I got off the plane and knew it was her. I told her it was like a dream that I was back in NY with my cousins. Last night Matthew and Eric spent the night, plus Max came over and it was like a party. We played outside on the scooters and skateboards until almost 10 o clock at night. Aunt Daniela was watching us from her window the whole time though. Then Aunt Daniela screamed out the window when  she saw us trying to do some dangerous tricks by the  school. Zach was mad that she stopped us, but she was right. We had pizza, and Aunt Daniela made chocolate chip cookies.

Today we went skiing and stopped at this place to get our gear on.  When I tried to put my goggles over my head, they slapped both of my eyes and it hurt really bad.  Water was coming out of my eyes. And my aunt Daniela felt bad for me and uncle Gino said, "are you ok?" and I said "I'm fine" even though I wasn't but I was trying to hide it.

After that, me, my half-cousin, Zach & Rachael started to ski on the bunny slope.  After a while, Uncle Gino took us on the ski lift (we all sat together) and then we skied down Yodler's Express (green circle trail-easiest trail) again and Mark's Run(also green).  I didn't fall the first time I went down. Zachary was talking to me while we were skiing because me and Zach were paired up and we skied ahead of Uncle Gino.  He was paired up with my half-cousin.  Zachary said, "Isn't this fun?"  And I said, "yeah."  Uncle Gino was showing my half-cousin how to turn and control herself. Then when we were down the mountain we decided 
we wanted to go up again. This time we were all on the lift together, except for Zachary because he was too late and his gate kept opening and closing on him.  It opened and closed on me the two times we went on the lift but I was still able to get with the group.  Once we were done with the lift, we went down the same trails. 

First, we went to the restaurant Pizza Hut.  The only reason I went there was so that I could get some of those DIPPIN STRIPS.  So we wait until the waiter comes and seats us.  I asked my aunt Daniela, "Do they got any dippin strips?"  And she's like, "NO, they're out of them, they were really busy tonight and they sold all of them."  Then I told my friends and cousins, "This was the reason I came here for - this is a TOTAL rip-off."   Cuz they had no more dippin strips.  They were out of cheesy bread too.  We got stuffed crust pizza and thin crust pizza, two pepperonis and one with plain cheese.  Then we ate.  I had a pretty good time.  But if I had those dippin' strips, I would have had a better time.  I sat next to Amanda .  She brought my folder to school yesterday morning because I forgot it.   She also likes to wear my sneakers sometimes .  After she heard me say that I wanted Dippin' Strips, that this is what I came here for, Amanda blew a kiss in my face, and asked, "did it hit you?", and she kinda smiled when she said that.

After the pizza, we went to Barnes & Noble.  Once we got to B & N, me & my cousin Zach looked at the Spiderman comics.  They were pretty cool.  We also saw X-men and this other comic, called Bone.  We looked around and we went in the kids' section, looked at books.  I was going to get one of the books from there, but then it seemed like I wanted the Spiderman comic more.  And it wasn't just a little thin comic book...it was a book with 9 comic books in it.  We also looked around some more and saw this Pokemon Coluseum book.  We were gonna give the Pokemon Coluseum book to Jacob, because he has game Pokemon Coluseum for GameCube.  But he said NO, he wanted this Noah's Ark thing better that he got from the kids' section.  Then Kim paid for the books and then everybody said thank you (after me ).  Then we hopped in the truck and went home.

...Flipped through the pages of our books.  In a few minutes we went downstairs to watch Mean Girls, that has Lindsay Lohan in it.  I like the movie. It was funny when Damian, a fat kid in the movie, when he was running, and trying to make this guy chase him into the projector room so that this mean girl's bf could find out she was cheatin' on him. 

Then we went upstairs.  It was midnight.  We played a little games.  And watched some TV.  Then in a few minutes it was time to go to bed. 

Today I woke up and relaxed at home with my cousins and Amanda and Val.  Roarda came over for a little while too.  My favorite thing I ate today was the frosting covered chocolate Donuts that Uncle Gino brought me from Dunkin' Donuts. 

School was delayed one hour today, which was cool.  I have more to tell you about than just gym.  In gym we played sideline basketball again.  My friend Darien wasn't there so I was gonna pick my friend David but my other friend Chris said, Please can I be your partner? I was like, oK.  Then I told David I couldn't be his partner. He was ok with it.  He was on my team.  But this time I wasn't number 6, I was number 9.  When it was my turn I went up, passed it to my teammate, and he tried to shoot then he tried to shoot, then he missed, then he passed it back to me.  When we were passing back and forth, crossing up the people, finally I tried to shoot and I was way off (didn't make it).  Then I passed it back to my teamate and he shot it.  And we made it. I forgot to tell you that I smacked it out of the people's hands and I didn't make it because my heart was burning and I was out of breath.  (*gasping 4air*)

Then we came back, did some social studies. Did some math too.  Then we colored stuff about Jamestown. And that was good and fun.  I watched a special on A&E with my Aunt Daniela about two months ago.  And you know what annoys me?  I always share my crayons, help people with spelling, and I never even got a snowflake for the kindness tree.  And I shared my crayons today with Zeke, Meka and myliah. I also share in science. 

Today at gym my class played sideline basketball.  We got paired up into partners again, but this time it was only our class.  Yesterday there were two classes.  Me & my friend Darien got paired up again.  We are kinda the same height.  We pick our partners.  But this time we weren't number 8.  We were number 6.  Once he called out number 3, Kletus and Lawan went out as number 3.  Then Kletus grabbed the ball first.  Then Lawan tried to steal it out of his hands but Kletus ran.  Kletus dribbles mad weird.  He went, jumped, hit the backboard and it went in.  And Lawan isn't a new kid but Kletus is. 

Today I went to school and first thing I looked on my desk, and saw a magazine about jaguars, how people can help save them cuz they don't have enough space to roam.  Then we had reading.  We are reading a story called Centerfield.  It's about baseball.  The stories remind me of being in Little League.  When Jose hit a home run in the story, it reminded me of Little League when I was one foot away from hitting a homerun. It also reminded me of when I catch balls and when I get people out. And when I looked in my desk in the middle of the day, I saw multiplication problems and abbreviations stuff.  Well I can't remember anything else that day so I will skip on to the stuff I know.    So I will just tell you about what I know.  Or what I remember.  Then I started doing some work that I got from reading.  And when I was in reading, me and my friend Dave went in the closet and read and I said I am bringing one of my worksheets for homework, so I can get it done while you're reading.  Then we started reading and I said ,"YOU WANNA READ FIRST? Or you want me to read first? It doesn't matter to me." He said "No, I'll read first."  Then while he was reading the first page I started doing some of my work.  Then it was my turn to read.  And he was kind of reading along and he was kinda looking out in outer space.  Then it was his turn.  And I did my work while he read.   So and so me and him started reading and then when it was his turn to read, cuz he had a big, big page, I was laughing.    Then I was like, "You said you wanted to read first"  cuz it mattered who read first.  Then he flipped the page and he said , " you got a big page too" and I was like "crap" and I said in my head, "at least its not a page as big as yours!"  Then reading was over and me and David were still reading.  I looked outside because I heard trotting coming into the room.  And I told David, "It's already regular class!" and he was like "Man, how long have we been reading???"  I sat back down.  Did some math.  And then I was stuck on these math problems we had to do.  And then she's like "ten minutes until gym" and then I was like "crap"  because it was almost gym time and I wasn't done with my subtraction.  Then I asked my neighbor Meka if she could help me cuz she was already done, but most of the time its me being done before her.  She helped me to get it done faster.  Then I got it done, gave it to Mrs. N, and she said, "Good job" and then right after gym started.

In gym we played sideline basketball.  Me and my friend Darien that knows Zachary, which Zachary had Darien as a reading buddy, we got teamed up and we like faced each other kinda.  We were just partners.  But on different teams, like Darien went on the left and I went on the right side of the gym.  Then when it was our turn, it was me, and Darien, and I can't remember who else was my teamate.  When me and Darien were playing, this kid blocked me and I tried to shoot, I was close, but I missed, cuz he blocked me and they were all like 10, 9, 8, 7 , 6...shouting because the time was running out, and I was trying so hard to make a shot and I was like RIGHT HERE and then he passed it to me, he was like PASS IT BACK and I was like OK.  I remember my teammate, it was Chris, then time ran out and we had to go back.  The last few times Mr. C called us, and there were three people out on the court from different teams, instead of just two.  Once Mr. C called out our names Trey, Lawan, and I went out, I got the ball and they were like PASS IT. And I was like OK and I passed it to Lawan and I thought in my head IF I HAD JUST SHOT IT MYSELF I PROBABLY COULD HAVE MADE IT FROM HALF-COURT because I've done it before.  Lawan didn't make the shot, actually the other team won.   That was my second try.  The other time it was Chris, Trey and me.  The other team got the ball before me and then I was like running for the ball, I tried to slap it out but I just couldn't hit and then Darien ran with the ball in his hand.  I ran, tried to smack it out of his hand but I couldn't.  And I like kinda slid on my shoes.  Then I ran back to get it.  Then Trey got it, he shot and swooshed it and made it.  This other time when it wasn't me, this kid on our team, they shot on one, they made it when time was running out as the time went to only 1. He shot, swooshed it and MADE it - it was SO COOL.

I just ate a popsicle stick and now I think I'm about to lose my voice.  And my aunt Daniela told me that when I was a baby I used to talk perfect sentences.  Bye.

Today sucks because I'm sick  and I can't enjoy the blizzard. Cuz I can't ride on my sled, play snowball fight, or make up some new game in the snow.  Today we ordered pizza.  I didn't like it cuz the sauce tasted weird. Then I did't like the Cocoa Puffs because it tasted like it had some extra sugar in it.

Once I was done eating Coccoa Puffs I came in and told Daniela it tasted like it had some extra sugar. And then she said it was "sugar free". Annie, val's friend, came upstairs. We made some arts and crafts and listened to country music.  Like Alison Krauss and played games.  And had fun. That's all I know.

I felt sick all day.  I sat down, did work from yesterday and today's morning work.  Right now all I could think of is donuts...once I asked Mrs. N if I could go to the nurse and she said NO.  She said "what is the nurse going to do for you?  There's nothing she can do for a little cold."  I asked her if I could talk to Daniela and she said "what's that gonna do?"  When she wouldn't let me go to the nurse or talk to Daniela, I felt bad because I felt sick.  I wished Aunt Daniela had let me stay home today again too.  The Triaminic didn't work.  It made it worse.  The Triaminic didn't let me breathe. My nose was running all day.  The bad thing is that I felt like I had a drill pecking through the middle of my nose, everytime I wiped my nose.  And I got it from Meka I think. She was in school today.  I want to sit somewhere else where people aren't sick.  I don't wanna be sick. 

I had the same dream again last night, about the ring.  And the case was rainbow-colored on the top and black on the bottom of the case.  I was happy and excited in my dream.  In my dream, when my dream started, there is this studio film, like at a movie theatre and people were like, "SHHHH, the movie is coming on."  And then after that dream, I was like "hey this is a cool one, it shows a picture of me looking like Usher when I grow up."  Cuz Daniela thinks I will look like Usher when I grow up.  And I had a spinning wheel necklace around my neck. Aunt Daniela just told me that I "have quite the active imagination while sleeping, that its just like going to sleep and watching tv."

Oh yeah the other night I watched "Without A Paddle" with my family down at Kim's. It was really funny.  My favorite part was when the guy had only his underwear on like Cubby and had to swing from the tree.

 

 

On Sunday I didn't feel that great. I ended up taking a nap while Zachary and Max went sleigh riding in the backyard.  I had a bad and a good dream.  The bad dream was that I was in school and weird things were happening.  I couldn't find my way home at the time.  I saw Meka at school and she told me I was in heaven.  I was like, "crap", and they were doing all these activities that I didn't know and I felt like I was created to do it.  Every second we changed classes, to Mrs. I, to Mrs. B, and Mrs. S.  I said "I wanna go home. Do you know your way home?" (To Mrs. N).  Then I said, "I know my way home."  I started running in air and found this bam-bam (like the one from the Hockey game uncle Gino took me to) and I walked in Aunt Daniela's room and I asked Zach, "Is this real?" because I wanted to make sure my dream wasn't true, because I wanted for it to not be true.  And Zach said, "It's real." Then I was like, "Crap".  

Then I had another dream. I drempt I gave Amanda P. a ring that had diamonds, pearls and was made of silver.   Then I remembered that I have to save up lots of money, so I can buy Amanda the ring for real.     Oh yeah, Amanda, if you're reading this, I really am going to save up to buy you a ring.  I can promise you that.

Monday- was Martin Luther King Day so we didn't have school.  We went to the McDonalds Playplace and played hide and seek.

Tuesday- I had gym.  And in gym, each line of people went up to the basketball hoop and tried to shoot.  I went up, shot, swooshed.  Then we got up into teams.  Zeke was on my team, and then I was number 5 and so was my other friend David.  I couldn't remember everybody else's number, so I just said my number (to pick the person I had to go up against).  Then Mr. C called out #5.  I shot, I missed it, shot again, missed it, shot again, missed it, then it went towards David.  Once I missed that 3rd time, it almost got in David's hands.  I tried to swipe it towards me, and it didn't work.  So then the fastest way I was ever gonna get it was by sliding on my pants.  I got it and shot and swooshed it.  I MADE IT!  We watched American Idol and saw a sad story with a guy that sang really good. He was a janitor.  Everybody said NO, and I would have said YES, but then he lost and he said, "since I lost I am going to go out on the street and beg for money."  Because he didn't have money left. Why does it always have to be the black people that are poor??????

Today I was absent from school because my ears hurt.  Aunt Daniela took me to the doctor and he said I didn't have an infection.  He said I have fluid in my ears causing pressure.  So then we went home and washed our hands immediately. Then we went on the computer and did some stuff to the sites we made.  We also had fun playing around with the Site Pal virtual idiot. LOL
